Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, gilt, silvered (?). (a) Pear-shaped, ovoid body, with long, tapered neck, with gilt rim, ground for a stopper; flaring gradually into a bulbous body; cut stylized basket of flowers on both sides, with gilt and silvered outlines; applied loop handle, curled at the lower terminal; applied arching spout with cut, gilt and silvered stylized flower and gilt rim, the rim partly ground; applied circular foot with gilt stylized foliage on the rim; rough pontil mark. (b) Globular knob on waisted stem; gilt; short, ground, tapered shank with ground flat end.
