Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, cut, enameled, gilded, stained. Flared, cylindrical bowl, on a solid, disk-shaped foot; the rim cut and chamfered on the inside, gilded; a rectangular panel on the front of the glass, framed with a pale yellow stained band decorated with repeated stylized florets and foliage, enclosing a polychrome enameled scene with river, bridge, and several people in the foreground, buildings in the background; a yellow-stained trapezoidal panel below, outlined with gilding, inscribed "Dresden" in the center, flanked by florets and palmettes; a short border of gilt florets and foliage on the reverse of the glass, below the rim; gilt horizontal lines at the foot; cut vertical facets on the side of the foot; the bottom polished flat with cut, yellow-stained star in the center.Provenance
