Physical DescriptionTransparent pale green glass with many small bubbles; blown and wheel-cut. Hemispherical shape; rim bulges slightly, cracked off and roughly ground; wall descends almost vertically, then curves in at bottom; wheel-cut decoration in two registers: upper register consists of ten contiguous diamond-shaped panels with double outlines; each panel contains either cross-hatching or, at center, shallow circular depression, the two motifs alternating on adjoining panels; in each space above and below panels where panels meet, one horizontal oval depression; lower register consists of band of twenty-eight vertical oval depressions with double borderlines above and below, numerous short internal cracks; narrow flat base; no pontil mark.Provenance
