Physical DescriptionClear glass with few bubbles; few wear marks; free-blown, cut and gilt, with enameled and gilt set-in medallion. Slightly conical body; a hoop has been cut off the rim, another off the bottom, the latter being replaced by a ring with an incorporated twisted wave-band, gold on red; the set-in medallion shows an old woman, turned to the left, in a red dress with a white neckcloth and with a golden cap, against a greyish-green background and surrounded by a leaf ornament-band, gold on red; on the golden rim at the bottom a small "6"; on the reverse side the inscription in gold leaf: "Verfertigt zu Gutenbrunn im Fuerngergischen grossen Weinspergwald 1792. Von Mildner" (Made in the Fuernbergischen big Weinspergforest 1792. By Mildner.); the medallion is surrounded by a band of small cut flutes.
