Physical DescriptionCovered Filigree Goblet. Colorless, with purplish tinge; opaque white. Vetro a reticello. Goblet with cover. Conical bowl of goblet has fire polished rim and rounded base; joined by thin, colorless glue-bit and colorless merese to blown stem composed of small, flattened knop atop inverted baluster; joined by merese to shallow, blown foot with infolded rim. Domed cover with projecting flange and pontil mark inside; finial is composed of blown, slightly flattened knop between two colorless mereses; above, blown conical knop with two constrictions. Except for mereses, all parts are decorated in vetro a reticello. Below foot, inscribed “21” in white enamel.
