Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown, enameled. Narrow cylindrical body, rim inturned with rounded lip, bell-shaped mouth, decorated in red enamel: immediately below rim, narrow horizontal band of angular interlace with double borders above and below; on wall, from top to bottom, horizontal band of eight trefoil leaves on short stems with triple borders above and below; zone containing eight birds arranged in two horizontal bands of four birds each, separated by two knot-like motifs; near bottom, narrow band of angular braided ribbons with double borders above and below; on lower part of body, dark gray and white paper label inscribed "J.&.L/LOBMEYR/WIEN"; tubular foot-ring, and slightly concave base; no pontil-mark.Provenance
