Physical DescriptionProbably almost colorless, with greenish tinge. Blown (body perhaps blown in dip mold); facet- and linear-cut. Bottle with cylindrical body. Rim folded in and flattened; neck shaped like funnel; shoulder rounded; wall vertical, curving in at bottom; base flat; no pontil mark. Rather perfunctory decoration on neck and wall, using cuts 0.15–0.25 cm wide. On neck: three triangular facets extending from apexes at rim to bases two-thirds of distance to bottom; below them is one continuous horizontal groove. On wall: two registers, each with continuous horizontal groove at bottom. Upper register is narrower and contains five triangular facets alternating with vertical cuts. Lower register has two inverted V-shaped motifs with curved sides; each contains two triangular cuts flanked by short transverse lines; each space between V-shaped motifs contains one triangular cut and two transverse lines.Provenance
