Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; gold decoration; stainless steel; black plastic; mold-blown by machine, stamped, screen printed; spherical shape; slightly flared rim, machine finished; long cylindrical neck; metal band around neck, three parallel lines stamped into middle of band around its circumference; handle attached to neck my metal band and screw, handle vertical oblong shape with angled bottom; body of carafe spherical, three gold colored bands around circumference of body near top, middle band wider than other two, "SILEX / N / LRG-2 / T.M. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." stamped within a circle onto side under handle; "PYREX® / BRAND / GLASSWARE / MADE IN U.S.A. / FOR / THE SILEX CO." stamped within a circle on opposite side; flat circular base.Provenance
