Physical DescriptionBarber Bottle. Transparent yellow green non-lead glass; mold-blown in optic mold, tooled, enameled. Barber bottle of transparent yellow green glass with numerous, vertical air bubbles; globular body with 10 vertical ribs and a long, bulbous neck with a second protrusion near the shoulder; tooled rim with a thickened, round lip. The body is painted in white opaque enamel with an outdoor scene depicting a young girl wearing a pinafore standing right, carrying a small basket in her left and holding up a flower with her right. Thin brush strokes elude to a meadowy landscape, which is framed by large floral sprigs. Base with a tooled rim, shallow kick, and a rough circular pontil mark. 2 gummed labels under base "9" and "Similar/Holiner/pg.14".Provenance
