Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; yellow plated stainless steel; black plastic; mold-blown by machine, stamped; a) bulbous shaped carafe; rim machine finished with pinched lip, angled up so lip side taller than opposite side, rim rounded in to neck; neck cylindrical; metal band around neck, is loose enough to move; handle attached to neck by metal band and screw, is opposite pinched lip (when band positioned properly), handle turned up then bent down and slightly curved in; body of carafe tapered out to bottom, bottom rounded in to base; "CORNING/HEAT PROOF GLASS" stamped in white on side of carafe near handle; flat circular base; b) circular cover; rim tapered in to sides; sides straight, outer edge of base flat, center pushed up to form knob; knob cylindrical with flat top and slightly rounded out sides, is taller than rim of cover.Provenance
