Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; gold decoration; yellow plated metal; black plastic; yellow plated anodized aluminum; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; a) conical shaped carafe; machine finished rim with pinched lip, rim rounded in to short cylindrical neck; metal band around neck; handle opposite pinched lip, attached to neck by metal band and screws, handle angled up then bent down and out, end turned in; carafe body tapered out to bottom, bottom rounded in to base, gold shamrocks printed around body, "PYREX®/MADE IN U.S.A." printed near bottom of carafe under handle; flat circular base; b) circular cover; angled up from rim to center on all sides, center comes to a point; raised rim with tapered in sides; carafe attachment piece extends out horizontally from one side of rim, "PAT./PEND." Stamped into underside of piece.Provenance
