Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide, gilt cast metal mount. Flat, circular shape, with polished, flat faces and double-chamfered rim; enclosing a molded sulphide portrait of a man and a woman (Napoleon I and Marie Louise), facing sinister, the man wearing a laurel wreath, the woman a tiara; reverse of the sulphide flat; cast gilt metal mount at the top, formed of overlapping leaves and berries at the front and back, with turned post and bulbous top, pierced, with a loose ring for hanging.Provenance
