Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut; gold cover. Flat, roughly circular shape, elaborately cut; pattern of two ribbed pointed-arch "windows on either side, with stylized foliate cutting in bands below each; the sides with cut oval "eyes" at top, above a rope-cut curved band, and a faceted drop; two oval, flat feet; the shoulders faceted; short, cylindrical neck, ground for a stopper; domed, hinged gold cover with ribbed, bulbous bands, and a band of beadwork; the top with minute concentric rings and a band of impressed beading; two impressed unidentifiable hallmarks, one on the mount, the other on the cover (a leaf in a conforming outline?); glass stopper with tapered, ground shank; cut flat finial with rounded top.
