Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cut; molded, encased sulphide; stamped gilt metal; turned wood. Flat, circular shape, front slightly convex, back flat; enclosing a molded white sulphide portrait of a male in military uniform, facing dexter; reverse impressed "DESPREZ,/Rue des Recolets/No. 2, a Paris."; in a stamped gilt metal mount with stylized foliate border; turned wood square frame; stamped "30" at the upper left corner on the back; brass strap and loose ring for hanging.
