Physical DescriptionColorless and opaque white non-lead glasses; blown, cut, enameled, gilt. Cylindrical bowl with flat base; cut and gilt cylindrical rim; sides with horizontal cut prismatic bands; an oval panel of opaque white glass on the front, outlined with gilding, and decorated with a bust-length portrait of a man in military dress in sepia enamel; inscribed above, in Cyrillic, "Count Wittgenstein"; waisted, panel-cut stem; cut square foot with polished pontil mark on the underside, a cut "X" on the lower, front edge of the foot.
