Physical DescriptionBowl. Presumably non-lead glass; free-blown, cut and gilded. Double- ogee bowl with drawn circular foot-like base having polished pontil mark; cut decoration: rim, scalloped in shallow curves and points; on sides, longitudinally bisected ellipses on large flat diamonds, two lunar slices below points of diamonds, and coronet-like trefoil motif between sides of diamonds at top and, at bottom, large "tear"; oval facets around side of base; on diamonds and lunes, gold leaves and tiny linear scrolls, and, on center of trefoil and on "tear", small flowers.
