Physical DescriptionColorless, amethyst non-lead; blown, overlay, cut, gilt, enameled. Bell-shaped form, with flared rim and rounded base; amethyst overlay on colorless; cut, gilt rim; cut panels with raised amethyst ovals on the sides; the panels covered with elaborate raised (enamel) gilt scrolls and diaper panels; the amethyst ovals outlined in gilt; flared foot with cut rounded panels on top, with raised gilt scrolls; the underside of the foot with cut radial grooves at the edge, each lined in gilt, with polished concave pontil mark at the center.
