Physical DescriptionTransparent amber and deep blue cased in colorless partial lead glasses; hot-worked with gold and silver foil inclusions. Abstract tree; massive, solid squared "trunk" tapering to a point at the top comprised of amber cased in colorless with six raised vertical ribs extending from base to mid-section; upper half decorated with seven irregular knobs in varying sizes (smallest at point) of blue with applied patches of gold and silver leaf, cased in colorless and applied "hot" to trunk by thick colorless patties; flattened base with four colorless pad feet; large ground pontil area; inscribed vertically in script near base "A. Barbini (script)/Robert (script) Willson (block)".
