Physical DescriptionTransparent green over almost colorless with yellowish tint; both glasses have very few minute bubbles. Blown, applied, and cut. Beaker. Rim plain, with lip cracked off and flattened by grinding; upper wall (Th. up to 0.25 cm) straight and tapering. Decorated with green pad (H. 4.2 cm, W. 4.2 cm), which begins immediately at rim (but see below). Pad is linear-cut in form of stylized "lion" seen in profile facing left, with triangular head, one front and one much larger back leg, and tail which rises above rump and extends forward almost to neck. To right of pad, one straight cut which slants down from rim to right; to left of pad, small part of complex curvilinear motif.
