Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cast. Rectangular panel with intaglio scene of three female figures in classical drapery, two seated on a bench, the one on the far left playing a lyre; third figure kneeling at the end of the bench beneath a tree, three vases in foreground; inscription in base: "SHE SANG SWEET MUSIC"; front polished; back and sides satin finish; signed in mold: " 40"; signed on back: "F. Carder 1940"; two stands with two elephant heads.
