Physical DescriptionClear glass with minute bubbles and impurities; wear marks at base; patterned in a mold half-post method and enameled. Octagonal straight-sided body with rounded shoulder and joined by half-post method, metal screw top, concave base having rough pontil mark; on the obverse and reverse, in multicolored "peasant type" enameling, an oval containing a blue and white dove perched on a yellow flower, the yellow ovals surrounded by leaf-like and geometric ornaments, on the narrow sides multicolored flower and leaf stalks, on the diagonal sides a red blossom framed above and below by a wavy "spiral", on the shoulder a stylized red wreath with yellow and white leaves.Provenance
