Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Tapered, straight-sided bowl, with plain rim, panel-molded sides, with raised pointed panels on the lower half; cut, convex pentagonal panel on the side, enclosing a molded white ceramic (sulphide) half-length female portrait, with hands crossed; rectangular panel below, inscribed in blue script "la Ste Vierge"; projecting rounded panels at the base of the bowl, with vertical ribbing between; paneled hexagonal foot, concave beneath, with polished, flat rim.Provenance
