Physical DescriptionFragment with Bird (?). Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge; decorated in brown and light grayish green. Blown in dip mold; stained. Fragment. Base has dome on floor and flat underside, with band of radiating mold-blown ribs beginning 1.5 cm from center (six of approximately 90 ribs survive); pontil mark roughly circular (D. 1 cm). Decorated on exterior only. Part of head and neck of bird(?) seen in profile, facing left: head has beak (possibly holding stem or leaf), circular eye, and crest; neck is fairly long and has vertical row of four narrow horizontal crescents; head and neck are solid grayish green, except for eye and crescents, which are not colored; outlines appear to be painted in brownish green, but these may be "halos". Below beak and in front of neck, part of indeterminate brown motif, possibly vegetal.Provenance
