Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Bottle. Transparent deep blue glass; blown, scratch-engraved. Fragment of bottle(?), including just over 25 percent of edge of base. Lower wall is almost straight and tapers slightly before curving in at bottom; edge of base plain. Lower wall has horizontal band of decoration with one horizontal line forming border at bottom (top does not survive) and second horizontal line beneath it. Decoration consists of vertical lines (six of which survive); between each pair of lines, space is divided by vertical row of contiguous arcs, with area to right of arcs plain and area to left filled with transverse hatching.
