Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, polychrome enamels; blown, enameled, engraved. Cylindrical vessel with slightly narrowed fire-polished opening; body tapers in slightly towards heavy narrow flattened base; interior with overall dripped transparent pink, black and amber enamel pooling at the bottom; exterior enameled in black lines with over engraving, upper and lower bands framing two large panels, one with three small stylized house forms and the other with a larger house rendered in loose perspective, upper band inscribed in block letters: "I TRIED to REASON it out, But I FAILED!, "lower band inscribed: "SLEEPLESS FOR FIVE AND SIX DAYS AT A TIME."; ground and polished pontil; inscribed on base: "Yelle 1990".Provenance
