Physical DescriptionWineglass. Colorless non-lead glass; free-blown, gold design between colorless layers, and cut. Deep round-funnel bowl, sides cut in narrow panels; composite stem including faceted ring or annular knop, faceted and paneled inverted baluster and small reel knop; applied flat circular foot with circlet of alternate large oval flutes and paired pointed flutes on bottom; on bowl, in gold between colorless glass layers, Watteau-like bowling scene with narrow leaf border below plain gold band at top and wide flower and foliated leaf band below.
