Physical DescriptionFragment of Beaker. Almost colorless, with swirl of very pale purple; decorated in gold and red. Blown; gilded, enameled. Fragment of beaker. Upper wall (Th. 0.1-0.2 cm) tapers, then changes angle and descends at steeper angle. Decorated on outside with part of register containing at least four rows of gilded fish outlined in red; uppermost row (1) has fish swimming from right to left, as does row (3); rows (2) and (4) have fish swimming from left to right; each fish has two pectoral fins, dorsal fin, caudal fin, and fan-shaped tail; outline and some details, such as eye, gills, and lateral line, are drawn in red.
