Physical DescriptionFragment with Bird. Transparent pale bluish green glass; blown, pincered. Fragment from rim and wall of vessel. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall almost vertical, but slightly convex. Pincered decoration consists of most of one bird standing and facing right, and parts of two similar birds. Most complete bird is lightly impressed and rendered schematically: head has beak and eye, body is small, with two short, almost vertical legs; rear part of body and entire tail are missing. In front of it, small part of second bird and immediately behind it, beak of another bird. Decoration is also impressed on interior of vessel.Provenance
