Physical DescriptionColorless bubbly glass with brownish tinge; blown; wheel-cut and ground. Shallow dish; rim ground flat; wall curves downward and then sharply inward; decoration on outside linear- and facet-cut with cuts left rough: fragmentary retrograde inscription in Greek capital letters with prominent serifs; iota, omega, alpha, nu, nu, eta (ioanne[s]); omega is in form of W, alpha has V-shaped cross bar; parts of unidentified motifs above and below.
