Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Pitcher with Palmette. Transparent green over colorless; both with very few minute bubbles. Blown, cased or more probably applied; relief-cut. Fragment from wall of vessel (TTh. less than 0.2 cm), which was either vertical or almost vertical. Decorated with tall, narrow green overlay (Th. 0.1 cm) with slightly convex sides and one rounded end. Overlay has several cuts, which include notch near end of one side and groove parallel to sides, both cut through green to colorless glass; most of other cuts do not penetrate to base glass; above (or below) overlay, shallow horizontal cut in colorless glass and similar vertical cut in colorless glass at one side of overlay.Provenance
