Physical DescriptionTranslucent green over opaque white on translucent reddish purple glasses; blown and cased (two layers), carved, ground, and polished. Cup: fragment of rim. Rim plain, with one lathe-cut groove 0.5 cm below lip on outside and similar groove 0.25 cm below lip on inside; upper wall vertical. Decorated in relief with white wing and white and green vegetal motifs. Wing consists of five long, curving parallel feathers, each with engraved rib and veins; it is raised, with tip pointing to left. Vegetation consists of vinescroll with narrow stalks, which extends across fragment from right to left, passing behind wing; stalk is white, scrolling leaf and part of another element are green over white. At right edge of fragment is white element, possibly part of creature with wing.
