Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with yellowish tint. Blown; applied. Pitcher with slender ovoid body. Mouth shaped like funnel, with rounded lip; neck cylindrical, splaying at bottom and merging with wall; base has foot ring in form of applied coil that was tooled to make seven flat, roughly semicircular "toes;" underside is flat, but uneven, perhaps as result of attachment of pontil. Decorated with trails: (1), below lip, continuous horizontal trail with overlapping ends; (2) on neck and wall, eight vertical ribs extending from top of neck almost to bottom of wall. Handle dropped onto wall just above greatest diameter, drawn up and out with four irregular ribs, then bent sharply in and attached to trail on mouth, with excess glass extending onto top of lip.
