Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar with Cap. Light green, opaque white non-lead glass; mold-blown, pressed. (a) Barrel shape; with ground lip, screw threads on neck, mold seam on each side; obverse embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV 30TH /1858" with Hero cross below "MASON'S"; base embossed "PAT NOV 26 67" in a circle around "699". (b) Zinc cap with pressed opaque white glass liner; embossed: "GENUINE PORCELAIN LINED BOYD'S" in a circle around a Hero cross lettered HFJ Co. in arms.
