Physical DescriptionAmethyst glass; mold-blown; pontil mark, plain lip. Obverse: Washington, classical profile bust with queue tied with three ribbons, narrow band of toga showing; facing left. Reverese: Taylor profile bust in uniform, five buttons on coat, facing left. Inscription: above Washington "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY"; reverse above Taylor "GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS". Edges: smooth.
