Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: classical profile of Washington facing left, but in higher relief. Reverse: military profile of Taylor facing left, five buttons on coat. Inscription: above Washington "THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY"; reverse above Taylor "GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS". Edges: smooth.
