Physical DescriptionGoblet. Translucent, almost transparent opal milk glass; free-blown, cut and gilt. On the plain conical foot rests the inverted baluster stem, bordered by disk-like knobs and surmounted by an ogee bowl; the bottom part of the bowl is cut in flutes, the stem is faceted; on the bowl a scene in gold, showing a small house, surrounded by few trees and on the left side two gentlemen, on the right a carriage with a coachman, pulled by two horses; below this scene a scroll-like ornament; on reverse side of panel a gilt flower; rim and rim of foot gilt, gilt dots surmounted by crescents at bottom of flutes above stem.Provenance
