Physical DescriptionTumbler. Clear glass and gold leaf (Zwischengoldglas); probably free- blown and cut, with sandwiched engraved gold and silver leaf decoration. Two conical tumblers are joined together, the outer is cut in 19 panels; the gold decoration shows between plain bands and a row of dentils at top and plain bands and a floral composite band in silver at bottom a frieze depicting a hunting scene: hunters accompanied by horses and dogs shooting ducks; the inserted bottom on the inside shows in sandwiched gold leaf decoration a dog and two birds against ruby glass as background.Provenance
