Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, gilded. (a) Conical bowl continuing into a tapered stem; gilded rim above a band of polished circles; engraved and gilded portrait of King Frederick the Great in a crowned circular frame, flanked by arms and flags; stem cut and gilded in bands of rounded arcades; circular foot, rough pontil mark on inside of bowl; (b) domed form with gilded line and band of polished circles near rim, panel-cut and gilded below finial; arcade-cut and gilded ovoid finial; rough pontil mark.
