Physical DescriptionTranslucent dark blue, translucent white and translucent lighter blue glasses; mold-pressed. Roughly circular disc; plaque consisting of three superimposed layers of glass, translucent dark blue, over thin layer of translucent white, over translucent lighter blue. Decorated in relief with head of Medusa, full face, with wings springing from top of head, many snake-like locks and snakes knotted below chin. Fragment surrounded with gold-edged brown paper, glued to edges.
