Physical DescriptionOpaque multicolored glass frit, dull and pitted with pinprick bubbles; fused then ground and polished. On a dark blue-grey ground, a brown male wearing a black Egyptian wig and striped multicolor wrap kneels on right knee, facing right he extends an offering tray stacked with foods and from his left hand extends an inverted floral stalk, the scene is framed by a border of blue squares which alternate with rectangles of five bands (red, yellow, deep blue, yellow and red); a frame of black glass forms the outer edge.Provenance
