Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut engraved, zwischengold panel. (a) Large ovoid bowl with gilt rim, and band of gilt oval facets below; engraved military trophies of arms and an eagle grasping lightning framing an inset oval zwischengold panel decorated with a black silhouette of a man (William III of Prussia) wearing an order of the Black Eagle; band of polished faceting at the base of the bowl; facet-cut knop above a cut square spreading foot with polished pontil mark and polished flower on the underside. (b) Domed shape with rounded rim decorated with engraved gilt notching, and inset cylindrical brim; polished rounded panels on top, with a gilt band below; facet-cut baluster finial mounted on an angular merese.
