Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, enameled, gilded. Waisted shape with flared foot rim decorated with cut, yellow-stained and blue-enameled or silvered (?) facets; amber-stained band of pointed lambrequins, each with gilded foliate motifs, and an amber band with gilded "waves" at the rim; a rectangular panel with transparent-enameled scene of the Karlskirche on the side, inscribed "Satory fecit 817." at the lower right; bordered by an amber-stained frame with gilded formal foliate devices; inscribed "Die Karlskirche in Wien." in gilded script below; amber-stained cut star on the bottom; number "138" inscribed in black ink or paint (old collection number).Provenance
