Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Ovoid bowl, with panel-molded sides, plain rim; cut, octagonal, convex panel on the side, enclosing a molded white ceramic (sulphide) half-length portrait of a woman, holding a portion of a spoked wheel in her arms, with a rectangular panel below, inscribed "Ste Catherine" in blue script; shells at either end, scrolls below; waisted paneled stem; paneled octagonal foot, concave beneath, with polished, flat rim.Provenance
