Physical DescriptionColorless (faint greenish tint), transparent dark blue lead glasses; blown, pincered, trailed. Circular bowl, with sloping sides and rounded bottom; trailed spiral threading on the underside; merese and pincered pad above a stem in the form of a sea serpent, with spirally-ribbed knob head, pincered open mouth, and applied blue eyes; curved neck; ovoid, spirally-ribbed body; two trailed and pincered fins; upturned, pointed tail; set into a pincered pad at the base; domed, circular foot with trailed blue rim; engraved script signature "Gray-Stan" on the underside of the foot rim; rough pontil mark.Provenance
