Physical DescriptionColorless glass with greenish-grey tinge, with seeds. Gilt, mold-blown. Bell-shaped bowl with slightly uneven (sheared-off?) rim, joined by merese to hollow-blown “lion-mask” stem; joined with avolio to shallow, blown foot with infolded rim and small, rough pontil mark.
Stem is blown into a two-piece mould, two lion’s mask alternating with four-petalled rosette above pearl garland. Shoulder and lower part are gadrooned. Lion-stem gilt with “shattered” gold leaf.
