Blown (neck), probably pressed and iridized (body), drawn (handle), and assembled (all). Pitcher, comprising three unrelated elements. (1) Rim in form of almost horizontal flange with rounded lip, and neck cylindrical, but slightly wider at bottom than at top; (2) body, which is roughly hemispherical; it has projecting "collar" (H. 0.5 cm, D. 4.0 cm) at center, surrounding mouth, and three identical buttress-like projections on wall, extending from just below collar to base; projections have flat sides, faces with convex profiles, and are 5.0 cm wide and 1.0 cm deep at bottom; (3) handle with roughly oval cross section, which is attached to edge of rim and top of wall. Body has crackled surface, which is at least partly purple and iridized. Three elements were assembled with adhesive and visible surfaces were painted with adhesive containing numerous flakes of iridescent weathering products.
