Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, enameled, stained, cut. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape; the rim with cut chamfer on the inside, stained yellow; the sides with enameled decoration, a rectangular panel on the front, framed with linear and minutely scalloped bordering black enamel lines; enclosing an unidentified rural scene, with cattle in the foreground, a man walking across a bridge on a narrow stream at the right foreground; several buildings, including a castle and a church with spire, in the background; signed at the lower right of the panel, "G. Mohn f." in black enamel; inscribed "Caroline" in black enamel script on the reverse, with a small black enamel fly below; the bottom polished flat.
