Physical DescriptionVase. Transparent dark ruby non-lead glass; blown, cut. (A,B) Ovoid form; cup-shaped rim with petal-cut edge; cut band of large diamonds and horizontal groove below; waisted neck with cut rounded panels, with two grooves at the center; cut angular rings at the shoulder; the bulbous sides with large cut oval bosses, each with a cut star; fine cross-hatching in the triangular spaces above, cross-cut and finely cross-hatched panels below, with small triangles of cut diamonds; cut grooves and panel-cut base on the body; panel-cut stem; cut band of nailhead diamonds on the domed foot.
