Physical DescriptionSprinkler. Translucent deep purple, with opaque white trail. Blown; applied, dragged, marvered. Sprinkler: horizontal cross section of body is roughly oval, with straight long sides and rounded short sides. Rim plain, with flat top and narrow opening (D. 0.2 cm); neck cylindrical, widening as it descends, but with shallow constriction at bottom; shoulder slopes and has rounded edge; long sides of body are straight and tapering; short sides curve out, down, and in; base plain and slightly concave; pontil mark present but indistinct. Decoration consists of single trail dropped onto edge of base, wound spirally 13 times around body and neck, then dragged up and down to make seven adjoining featherlike patterns, which are stretched and distorted on neck.
