Physical DescriptionCanes of opaque white, opaque yellow, opaque light green, opaque medium deep blue and translucent amethyst, pitted, surfaces repolished recently, some dulling and weathering on sides; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. This segment of cane roughly square in cross section preserves a large and elaborate rosette consisting of a white center cased with amethyst from which ten petals radiate in a yellow ground, the petals are light green with blue tips, this rosette is in turn cased with amethyst and framed by a continuous string of waves or spirals which in turn are cased in an amethyst ring and finally bordered with a light green square matrix.Provenance
